Rijkswaterstaat This is a map produced for Rijkswaterstaat (a Dutch governmental body tasked with maintaining the national infrastructure, including roads). The main purpose of this map is not navigation, but rather assisting the maintenance and control of these roads. This has had some effects on the content and design of the map. Source data used include the NWB (Nationaal Wegenbestand), EuroGlobalMap, topographic data at various scales as well as internal Rijkswaterstaat data on road elements such as information panels, rest areas, metered ramps and so on.
