Red Geographics was founded in 2004 in Klundert, The Netherlands. The main force behind the company is our founder, Hans van der Maarel. Mr. van der Maarel is a cartographer with over 9 years of experience in the GIS/cartography industry.
Mr. van der Maarel and his team have worked on a large variety of projects, ranging from cartographic production to the development and support of a complete production workflow. Red Geographics operates in the fields of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), geographical data, Spatial ETL, 3D visualisation and digital cartography, offering consultancy and training, performing data translation and transformation services as well as creating both 2D and 3D maps and visualisations.
